Dimas Krisena Remembers Father in Song

Kapanlagi.com - Young singer Dimas Krisena officially released his debut work entitled Ayahku Tersayang at the beginning of 2021. The song is an expression of his sadness after his beloved father passed away.

"After seven days since his father's passing, Dimas played a small organ at home carelessly, and I scolded him. Dimas told me that if he wanted to make a song for his father, he didn't want me to get angry, so I didn't. Dimas said that he wanted me to write down what he was going to say. That's how this song was created," said Dimas Krisena's mother, R. Aj. Dra. Hj. Erna Sapta Wahyuni S.E. MAPPI in Jakarta.

"I talked to Dimas and told him that if he wanted to make a song, we should write the lyrics first. Then he left the room and I told Dimas that I would write it down, and he could tell me what he wanted to say. That's how this song was created," she continued.

1. Not Wanting to Burden Dimas' World

In the process of working on the song, Dimas, who is only 8 years old, was assisted by Muhammad Noor Gibran and Redinca Nuhumuri, as the music producer and music arranger. Gibran said he arranged the music in the song as naturally as possible. He didn't want to suppress Dimas' world to express his feelings in the song.

"Nowadays, there are many musicians or child singers who sing love songs, actually I want to try to change this paradigm that children should not be deprived of their childhood even when they grow up, still bring children's material. This is where I welcome Dimas to become one of the singers who truly professionally perform children's songs," he said.
