Kapanlagi.com - The sad news of the passing of Dimas Seto's beloved father has enveloped the family. The husband of Dhini Aminarti is grateful that his father's wishes were fulfilled.
"The most significant sign was that he asked everyone to gather for only one hour, and then it would be over," said Dimas Seto when met at TPU Tanah Kusir, Jakarta, on Sunday (22/5).
Syafrudin passed away on Saturday (21/5) due to several illnesses he had suffered from recently. Before being taken to the hospital, he had a stroke and heart function disorder.
Dimas Seto himself is grateful that he was able to guide his father in reciting the declaration of faith and his father followed along with just one breath until he finally breathed his last.
"When my father had a stroke, he had a motor function disorder, but what made me sad was when he had a feeding tube inserted through his nose. It was so painful it reached his stomach," he said.
Although initially sad to lose his beloved father, Dimas Seto and his family have already accepted his passing.
"When we were reciting the declaration of faith, I noticed that my father recited it fluently, but he couldn't say anything else. He was calm there, and two days before he passed away, he said, 'Let's all gather on Friday morning.'" added Dimas Seto.
"We were sad yet happy when we gathered as a family in the ICU. As Muslim children, it is our duty to guide him in reciting the declaration of faith. We said we have accepted it, and we said, God willing, we will all meet again later," he concluded.
