The DNA test issue between Denny Sumargo and Verny Hasan is still ongoing. Denny finally responded to the police summons to be examined as a witness in relation to his report, regarding allegations of defamation and slander. This case is a result of Verny Hasan's request for a DNA test on her child.
Not alone, Denny Sumargo, accompanied by his legal counsel, arrived at Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday (7/9/2023) at around 11.04 AM. Wearing a shirt with floral motifs, this man, affectionately called Densu, stated that he was ready to undergo examination.
"Today's agenda with Mr. Sogi, Mr. Anwar as the legal representative will be interviewed or examined as a witness. (Evidence is brought) there is evidence brought," said Denny Sumargo.
In the same opportunity, Muhammad Anwar as Densu's legal representative stated that they brought several pieces of evidence. However, when asked further, they refused to disclose the evidence submitted to the investigator.
"If there is a lot of evidence brought, let Densu enter first in the initial investigation report which is the main focus. After being examined, then," said Muhammad Anwar.
In addition, Densu reaffirmed that after filing a report, they will still follow the legal process by complying with police summons to provide information regarding their report.
"I followed the procedure, because we have already made a report and we are responsible for the report," said Denny Sumargo.
"That's why we followed the police for all the processes, so later after I'm inside, I will give an interview about anything," he added.
Denny Sumargo and Verny have not met since the DNA test case resurfaced in the media. Hopefully, whatever comes out of this issue will be the best way, stay tuned for the latest updates.
