Divorce Hearing of Virgoun Continues, Judge Receives 94 Pieces of Evidence from Inara Rusli

Kapanlagi.com - The West Jakarta Religious Court held another hearing for the divorce case between singer Virgoun and his wife, Inara Rusli on Wednesday (16/8).

This hearing is scheduled for presentation of evidence and hearing witness testimonies. From observations on the field, it can be seen that Inara Rusli was represented by her legal counsel. Meanwhile, Virgoun did not attend, as well as his legal counsel.

"Today's hearing went well, smoothly. I represent Inara's mother to attend the hearing. We have submitted written evidence, consisting of 90 written pieces of evidence, 4 videos, and 2 witnesses," said Arjana Bagaskara after the hearing.

1. Witness Provides Testimony as Requested

According to Arjana, the 94 pieces of evidence have been accepted by the panel of judges. "All of our evidence has been accepted by the panel without any issues," said Arjana.

Regarding the two witnesses presented, Arjana refused to disclose their identities. However, both witnesses provided the expected testimony.

"In our opinion, the witnesses' answers were satisfactory and aligned with the evidence presented in the lawsuit. As for the witnesses, we will keep their identities confidential," he stated.

2. Proving Virgoun Scheduled for August 30

Regarding the absence of the defendant's legal representative, Inara Rusli's legal representative stated that it is not an issue.

"It's not a problem. They informed us in writing that there were technical difficulties related to their presentation of evidence, so they requested the presentation be scheduled for August 30," said Mulkan Let-Let, another legal representative of Inara Rusli.

The divorce case between Virgoun and Inara Rusli will resume on August 30, 2023, with the agenda of presenting evidence from Virgoun's side.
