Divorcing from Gading Marten, Gisella Anastasia Admits Regretting Her Decision

Being open, Gisella Anastasia openly admits regretting her decision to divorce. She realizes that divorcing from Gading Marten was a mistake.

"Based on my experience yesterday, it's clear that I divorced yesterday and all that stuff, it was a wrong decision that I made, without asking first. Confirming and confirming myself with my knowledge, being presumptuous, egoistic, and all that," Gisel said to Daniel Mananta.

1. The First Person to Divorce

Upon hearing Gisella Anastasia's confession, Daniel Mananta became curious about her family. It was revealed that Gisel was the first person in her mother's family history to experience divorce.

"Yes, I am the first person to divorce in the family, because my mom is Batak and it's not common for them to separate. Maybe there are some divorces in my dad's family. But in my mom's family, I am the pioneer, it's a mess," Gisel answered.

2. Different Religion Parents

Furthermore, Gisel also revealed that her parents have different beliefs. "My mom and dad are still together until now. Despite all the storms of life and everything, they are indeed of different religions," she said.

Gisel also admitted that religious differences also affected her marriage with Gading Marten when they were still together. As known, Gisel is a Catholic while Gading is an Orthodox Christian.

"Well, it's like this, now we understand. Even being of the same religion doesn't necessarily make it easy, let alone being different. The values and knowledge may not be the same. So, dealing with everything is really challenging, requires a lot of effort," she explained.
