Divorcing Mikhavita, Bams, Former Samsons Member, Strives to Obtain Custody Rights

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial between Bams and Mikhavita Wijaya has been going on for several weeks at the South Jakarta District Court. Yesterday, Tuesday (5/10/2021), the trial was supposed to be held with the reading of the verdict as the agenda.

However, the course of the verdict trial had to be postponed until next Tuesday (12/10/2021). The reason is that one of the judges was unable to attend due to his wife's passing.

Knowing this fact, Bams can only accept it. While hoping that the custody rights of their child from the marriage with Mikhavita will fall into his hands.

"What is clear is that we have followed the trial well. We have reached the end and only need to wait for the verdict. Let the court decide later," said Daniel Fridolin, Bams' legal representative, when contacted by phone.

1. Bams No Longer Lives with Wife and Child

During this divorce process, Bams and Mikhavita Wijaya apparently no longer live in the same house. The former vocalist of the band Samsons lives in Desiree Tarigan's house, while his wife and child occupy a different residence.

"Bams lives in his mother's house (Desiree), while his wife has her own place. The child stays with his wife," said Daniel.

When asked further about Bams' struggle to obtain custody of the child, the legal representative refused to speak much. Because the divorce proceedings are conducted privately.

"Because the proceedings are private, whatever we discuss should not be exposed. Later, let Bams confirm regarding this matter. Because they want to resolve the divorce together and the proceedings are private," said Daniel.
