Kapanlagi.com - The West Jakarta Religious Court has determined that custody and guardianship of Gala Sky Andriansyah belongs to the late Bibi Ardiansyah's family, namely Haji Faisal and his wife.
However, the panel of judges still allows Doddy Sudrajat, as the father of Vanessa Angel, to visit and meet Gala, his grandchild.
"As the grandparents of the child from the father's side, they have the obligation to provide access to the defendant (Doddy Sudrajat) as the child's grandfather from the mother's side to meet with the child," said Shandy Arifin when reading the decision of the West Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (13/4/2022).

As Haji Faisal's legal representative, Shandy Arifin explained that the decision does not automatically give Doddy the freedom to meet Gala.
Because, according to Shandy, Doddy must obtain permission from Haji Faisal before meeting Gala.
"Basically, if (Doddy Sudrajat) wants to meet, he must have permission from Mr. Haji," said Shandy Arifin.
Meanwhile, Haji Faisal declined to comment on the matter. He chose to first celebrate his struggle in obtaining custody and guardianship of his grandchild by visiting the graves of Bibi Andriansyah and Vanessa Angel and sharing with orphans.
