Doddy Sudrajat Files for Custody of Vanessa Angel's Child in Court, Doesn't Want to Fight with Bibi Andriansyah's Father

Kapanlagi.com - After the deaths of Vanessa Angel and Bibi Andriansyah, Gala Sky is being taken care of alternately in two houses. Sometimes Gala stays with Vanessa's family, sometimes with Bibi's family.

To avoid confusion, Doddy Sudrajat, Vanessa's father, filed for custody in court. He filed the application together with Bibi Andriansyah's father, Faisal.

"Uncle Doddy has discussed it with Faisal, we want to take care of Gala together. There must be a law, the court will determine it. It turns out that Mr. Faisal has already filed. Daddy doesn't feel anything strange, who should we go to. Is it from Bibi's family or Vanessa's family. The court must determine it," said Doddy when met today, Wednesday (17/11).

"Actually, don't call it a fight. Daddy doesn't agree with that. The locations are different, West Jakarta and Central Jakarta. Both filed. This is separate, it seems like a fight. No one is fighting, this is to ensure legal certainty. The status should be clear so that no one feels disadvantaged," he continued.

Before jointly applying for guardianship to the court, Doddy and Faisal have communicated. Both families want to take care of Gala, but they both want legal certainty.

"I want whoever takes care of Gala, it's for Gala's well-being. What's clear is that the court will decide. I am Gala's grandfather, so when Gala grows up, he will feel fought for. Faisal and I want the best for Gala," explained Doddy.

Doddy has applied to the court to become the sole guardian for Gala. The consideration is because his house is in a different location from Aunt's family's residence.

"Yes, because we have different domiciles. We both applied in our respective regions. (Aunt's family) is in Central Jakarta," said Doddy.

"There will definitely be visits. Once the law is established, Gala will be taken care of by me or Aunt's family. Bring him for two days or however it is. But the determination is with the court, custody will be taken by my family or Aunt's family. If they take (Gala) on weekends, make sure he is not withheld because there is already an agreement. Like from Monday to Thursday there, Friday to Sunday with me. I want there to be an agreement," he concluded.
