Doesn't Want to Call His Personal Car Changed to 'Ambulance', Ananda Omesh: I Prefer to Call it Covid 19 Emergency Car

Kapanlagi.com - Ananda Omesh transformed his private car into an emergency vehicle to transport Covid 19 patients. However, he did not change the car into an ambulance, but rather an emergency vehicle to transport Covid 19 patients.

"I don't want and can't call it an ambulance. Because there are certain requirements that must be fulfilled and the car must be qualified as an ambulance," said Ananda Omesh when met at his residence in Pejaten, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (6/7) afternoon.

"I just call it a Covid 19 emergency vehicle," he added.

1. Deliver Covid Patients

Once the car is operational, the 34-year-old presenter ensures that the emergency vehicle can only transport Covid 19 patients with mild symptoms. Because the requirement is that the patient must be conscious and accompanied by family members.

"So it will deliver non-critical patients. The requirement is that the patient can be transported while conscious, not critical, and accompanied by family members," he said.

In addition, when deciding to convert the function of the car into an emergency vehicle for transporting Covid 19 patients, Dian Ayu Lestari's husband certainly had to contact the hospital doctor and his colleagues in the automotive field. Now the car is in the process of being converted to standard form to be suitable for transporting patients.

2. Find Medical Equipment

Not only that, the Podkesmas podcaster is also looking for Medical Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for volunteers and Covid 19 patients being transported.

"Because I want to ask what specifications should be made for the emergency vehicle. My automotive friends asked for their help to modify my car. Because if accompanied by family members, if they are negative, they have to wear PPE. And volunteers also have to wear PPE, masks, and face shields. It must be safe," he explained.

Ananda Omesh is very grateful for the many medical equipment and PPE that he has received while waiting for his car to be completed.
