According to official information from Minecraft.net, the Dragon Ball Z Adventure World DLC introduces a variety of exciting game modes, ranging from solo, co-op, to 5v5 free for all. Players can choose their favorite characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, or Cell, just like in a fighting game. Each character also has their own signature moves like Kamehameha, Ki Blast, Special Beam Cannon, and Final Flash.

Not only iconic characters will be present, but players can also explore iconic locations from the Dragon Ball Z world recreated in the blocky style of Minecraft. Iconic arenas that will appear include Planet Namek, Capsule Corporation, Cell Games Arena, and Tenkaichi Budokai Arena. In addition to fighting, players can also undertake side missions and interact with nearby NPCs like in an open-world game.
