This story follows the fate of Li Yao Ying, a princess who is forced into exile in a remote area due to a political marriage. Her life changes drastically from the luxury of the palace to the harshness of the outside world. But fear not, amidst the despair, the figure of Sultan Gu, also known as Luo Jia, emerges to save her.
Their meeting under the gentle moonlight of the desert becomes a key moment that makes both of them fall in love at first sight. Although Luo Jia is a very religious figure devoted to God, the presence of Li Yao Ying seems to be both a test and a new light in his rigid life.

One of the reasons why this drama is highly anticipated is the selection of its main leads, which is outstanding. Bao Shang'en will portray Li Yao Ying with all her resilience. Her soft yet strong visuals are considered very fitting to represent the character of a royal princess struggling in exile.
Her co-star, Wang Hongyi, also appears very charismatic as the mysterious Sultan Gu/Luo Jia. The chemistry between the two is expected to perfectly bring to life the characters from the original novel. Just imagine, the cold gaze of the Sultan meeting the softness of the princess amidst the chaos of war will surely make the audience lose focus.
