Dul Jaelani's Refusal to Accept Soap Opera Offers and Maia Estianty's Advice to Go to College

1. Ignoring Mother's Advice

The mother, Maia Estianty, had actually given her advice to her youngest child to continue studying. However, Dul was determined with his decision to focus on the music world first rather than anything else.

"Mom advised me to go to college, but I haven't found a major or faculty that I have thought through. And I don't want to go to college just because my parents told me to. Because it could be dangerous. In my opinion, that is. So what I have thought through is choosing the path of music," said the 19-year-old man.

2. Rejecting Soap Opera Offers

Dul himself actually received offers to appear in soap operas. However, the singer of Cakrawala rejected it without hesitation because he felt that his passion was not in the acting world.

"There were offers to appear in soap operas, but I didn't want to because I feel that it's not my life path. So I choose my life path according to my heart. I will always follow my heart, God willing," concluded Dul.
