Kapanlagi.com - Artist singer Kris Dayanti (KD) is confirmed to have received a recommendation from the PDI Perjuangan for the Batu City Election. The news was obtained after KD, along with the Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer of the PDI Perjuangan Batu City DPC, attended the 2024 Simultaneous Election consolidation in Surabaya on Tuesday (23/07) evening.

"So Ms. KD has positively received the recommendation to run as the Candidate for Mayor of Batu from the PDI Perjuangan," asserted the Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan Batu City DPC, Punjul Santoso, to reporters on Tuesday (23/07) evening.

The consolidation agenda for the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections was held at the DPD PDI Perjuangan office in Surabaya on Tuesday (23/07) evening. Punjul emphasized.

KD, who was present at the meeting, received a recommendation from the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the PDI Perjuangan. Thus, it is confirmed that KD will run as a Candidate for Mayor in the 2024 Regional Elections in Batu City.

"We received this good news while attending the consolidation agenda for the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections at the DPD PDI Perjuangan office in Surabaya," he emphasized.

2. Ready to Bring Batu City to a Better Future

After the certainty of the recommendation, the DPC PDI Perjuangan formed Team 9, consisting of the Branch Leadership Council and the Mayor Candidate Team. This team will prepare for communication with other political parties, including discussing coalitions.

Meanwhile, KD, when confirmed, did not provide much information. However, the member of the Indonesian House of Representatives is ready to work to bring Batu City to a better future.

Kris Dayanti registered herself as a candidate for Mayor of Batu with PDIP on Thursday (23/05). However, due to her busy schedule, she was unable to come in person to submit her registration documents to the Tim 9 DPC PDIP Kota Batu.
