Kapanlagi.com - Roby Satria is a guitarist of the band GEISHA who got involved in a drug case. Now, after 2 years of being imprisoned, the good news finally came for the guitarist of GEISHA band.

Roby is now reportedly released from prison after serving his sentence. Previously, he was known to use marijuana drugs.

The release of Roby GEISHA was informed by the Head of Class 1 Cipinang Prison. Sukarno Ali confirmed that he has been officially released from behind bars on October 6, 2023.

"Roby Geisha returned based on the decision of the Minister of Law and Human Rights on October 6, 2023," said Sukarno Ali on Indosiar's Youtube channel, Saturday (14/10/2023).

Roby is considered to have fulfilled the requirements needed for parole. Although previously scheduled to complete his sentence until December 2023, Roby is now declared free.

Sukarno Ali, as the Head of Cipinang Detention Center, praised Roby's behavior during his 2-year sentence. According to him, Roby is a prisoner who actively participates in various programs held at the detention center.

"During his time in this detention center, he has behaved well, he has participated in program activities such as painting, playing basketball, and religious activities at Cipinang Detention Center 1," said Sukarno Ali.

Sukarno Ali also highlighted Roby's enthusiasm, KLovers. During his time in prison, Roby was very enthusiastic about the activities that were available.

"So during his time here, he was very enthusiastic about participating in the activities here at Rutan Cipinang," added the Head of Rutan Cipinang.

Previously, Roby GEISHA was arrested by the South Jakarta Metro Police in March 2022. He abused drugs, specifically marijuana, with a friend. This arrest is the third time the GEISHA band guitarist has been involved in a similar case. Roby had previously been involved in marijuana cases in 2013 and 2015.
