Experiencing Cough Symptoms, Vivi Team T JKT48 Confirmed Positive for COVID-19

After a while ago Febriola Sinambela and Flora Shafiq were confirmed positive for COVID-19, Viona Fadrin or who is more familiarly known as Vivi was confirmed to have been exposed to COVID-19 on Saturday (24/10) last week.

The news about Vivi's health condition was conveyed by the operation team of JKT48 through their official website a few days later, precisely on Tuesday (27/10) yesterday. Regarding this matter, JKT48 requested prayers and support from fans so that Vivi could recover soon and resume activities as usual.

1. Experience Cough Symptoms

COVID-19 can affect anyone and the symptoms can vary, although there are also cases where patients do not show significant symptoms. In this case, it is mentioned that Vivi experienced symptoms of coughing before the test showed positive results. Currently, Vivi is undergoing self-isolation with intensive care and taking medication from the hospital.

"This result was obtained after the individual underwent a separate test. Currently, Vivi is experiencing cough symptoms. The individual has undergone treatment, received medication from the hospital, and is currently undergoing self-isolation," wrote the JKT48 operation team.

2. Condition of Other Team T Members

With the positive test result of Vivi, JKT48 has certainly conducted tracing with whom she has had recent contact. Fortunately, after testing other members of Team T, none of them showed positive results.

"Vivi last had contact with members and staff on Thursday, October 22nd, and has not engaged in any JKT48 activities since then. Yesterday, all members of Team T underwent PCR swab tests and all results were negative," continued the JKT48 operation team.

3. Already Recovered

As known, before Vivi, two other Team T JKT48 members, Febriola Sinambela and Flora Shafiq, tested positive for COVID-19. Both of them have already recovered and can resume their activities since Thursday (22/10).

"Regarding the health condition of Febriola Sinambela and Flora Shafiq from team T, both have undergone treatment and self-isolation. Based on the examination results, no longer any symptoms of COVID-19 infection are found. Both of them have received a healthy statement from the doctor and are allowed to resume their activities. Therefore, both of them will continue their JKT48 activities as usual," stated JKT48.
