In a video on her Instagram social media account, Mima Shafa made a confession. Mona Ratuliu's daughter had attempted suicide in July last year.
After that, for a whole week, Mima underwent screening by a psychiatrist. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and BPD.
If bipolar affects mood, BPD is a personality disorder that affects thinking. Mima herself has been experiencing these feelings since 6th grade.
Not stopping there, Mima also underwent various therapies. Unfortunately, these feelings never improved.
Until finally, she decided to give up. In July 2022, Mima attempted suicide and was rushed to the hospital.
Before being diagnosed, Mima had already met with several psychiatrists. She also consumed medication that could change her lifestyle.
"For friends who want to learn more about bipolar disorder and BPD, feel free to ask because I will gladly answer," wrote Mima Shafa, through her Instagram account.
