Kapanlagi.com - Director and screenwriter Hanung Bramantyo has revealed his latest project, which is Descendants of the Sun Indonesia. Through his production house, Dapur Films, Hanung Bramantyo is preparing to remake the South Korean drama DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN into a feature film.

This announcement was made directly by producer and director Hanung Bramantyo, who revealed that his production house, Dapur Film, has received a visit from CEO Barunson C&C, Woo Shik Seo. The remake process is currently in the scriptwriting stage by Haqi Achmad.

However, Hanung has not announced the cast members who will star in the Indonesian version of Descendants of the Sun. Many are curious about how Hanung managed to acquire the rights to remake the successful Korean drama into a film.

Hanung Bramantyo Nugroho is the child of Salim Purnomo and Mulyani, born in Yogyakarta on October 1, 1975. On September 14, 2009, he married Zaskia Mecca, a beautiful presenter from Aceh.
