Failed to Senayan! 8 Portraits of Gilang Dirga Sincerely Accepting Defeat - Admit Not Wanting to See the Vote Acquisition

As known, Gilang ran as a legislative candidate from the United Development Party or PPP. He occupied the electoral district of DKI Jakarta I, which includes East Jakarta.

Regarding the loss of votes, Gilang Dirga admitted that he has sincerely accepted it. Because that means he has not been trusted by the public to bear the responsibility.

"Everything is entrusted; position, partner, everything is entrusted. If you don't want to entrust it yet, how can you force it? Just accept it willingly," said Gilang when met in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Thursday (21/3/2024).

While laughing, Gilang Dirga revealed that he did not want to know the total number of votes obtained. The small number of votes obtained is due to many factors, but one thing is certain, he has not been given the opportunity.

"I don't want to ask about my last vote ha ha ha. I'm tired. It's like, oh well, the party didn't even get in. There are many factors (causes), but I can't reveal them one by one here. One of them is certainly the lack of opportunity," Gilang emphasized.

Although he lost the vote, Gilang Dirga is not discouraged from leaving politics. He revealed that he will remain in his current party while waiting for the next round to advance again.

"What is certain is that I will remain in politics. As for five years from now, there is a possibility that I will try again. I will continue to strive," said Gilang.

"I will still be politically aware and be in the current party. Besides being an entertainer, I will still be a politician," he added.
