Fairuz A Rafiq Proud of His Child for Having Hajj Savings, Hoping to Go to the Holy Land Together

He allows his child to save the blessings received and always reminds him that it is a blessing from Allah. "Yes, it's already there, I let him. For example, if he receives blessings from memorizing the Quran, I always say, 'This is a blessing from Allah, for the actions you have taken, my child'," said Fairuz when met in the Tanah Kusir area, South Jakarta, Saturday (29/3/2025).

As a parent, Fairuz always tells her children about the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. She wants them to understand the differences between the two and to know the obligations that must be fulfilled when performing these rituals. This way, her children will be more motivated to worship.

"So she is happy and listens, I don't tell her to write that but for example, I always talk about what Hajj is, the obligations that need to be fulfilled. What Umrah is, and what the difference is from Hajj," she explained.

2. Explain the Importance of Charity

In addition, Fairuz also teaches her children about the importance of charity. She often gives examples that even the smallest act of kindness will receive a greater reward from Allah. In this way, she hopes her children will become more accustomed to sharing and helping others.

"If we do good, for example, giving charity of a thousand rupiah, it will be rewarded by Allah a thousand times over, and I often let them know that," said Fairuz.

3. Explain the Adult Hajj First

Regarding the Hajj plan for King Faaz, Fairuz mentioned that his son must reach adulthood first before departing. He hopes that someday they can go on Hajj together as a family.

"He must reach adulthood first, his age is still far from that. In April on the 2nd, during the third Eid, he will celebrate his 13th birthday," he said.

4. Who Knows We Can Go on Hajj Together

Fairuz and her husband, Sonny Septian, have long dreamed of going on Hajj. If possible, she wants King Faaz to join them when the time comes. According to her, this will be a very meaningful spiritual moment for their family.

"Who knows we can go on Hajj together when he is also adult. Allah has a plan, but as a parent, I clearly teach them how to share," she said.
