Fairuz A Rafiq Reveals the Chronology of Sonny Septian and the Children's Exposure to Covid-19, Crying Because They Had to Be Separated for 11 Days

Kapanlagi.com - Fairuz A Rafiq announced that her husband, Sonny Septian, has been infected with Covid-19. Not only that, their two children, King Faaz Arafiq and Queen Eijaz Slofa, as well as all the household staff, have also been infected.

She then tells the initial chronology of her family being exposed to Covid-19. It all started when their youngest daughter, Eijaz, had a high fever.

"The initial chronology was that Eijaz had a fever first, and I had a bad feeling, so I decided to do a PCR test, and the result was positive. I was really weak when I found out, I couldn't think straight, I was sad, I just cried and was confused, because she is still young and I have a baby to take care of. So we took care of her with health protocols as best as we could," said Fairuz A Rafiq during a virtual interview on Monday (14/2).

1. Fairuz and Baby Tested Negative

Afterwards, everyone in his house underwent PCR testing and it turned out that the results were positive. Meanwhile, only Fairuz and her baby, King Zhafi Zayyan Slofa, tested negative for Covid-19. Fairuz A Rafiq felt a little relieved but still sad because the others had to test positive.

"The next day, suddenly Faaz had a fever, I immediately went downstairs, checked his temperature, and it was 39 degrees. That day, everyone in my house, including me and my baby, underwent PCR testing. The whole house tested positive, only me and my baby tested negative, still under the protection of Allah," said Fairuz A Rafiq.

"Because we live together, we have contact, and Alhamdulillah I'm relieved that my baby didn't get infected and I'm still able to breastfeed. But I can't be completely at ease because my husband, Faaz, Eijaz, and everyone in the house got infected, the driver, the housekeeper, the baby's caregiver, all got infected," she continued.

2. First Time Family Gets Infected with Covid-19

He said that this is the first time his family has been exposed to Covid-19. Therefore, he is very sad and confused. Even though his family has always been obedient to health protocols.

"This is the first time we have been affected by a variant that spreads so quickly. Imagine, even though we have been so strict, we still got infected. But we surrender everything to Allah, we have tried our best, this is also a test from Allah," he said.

3. Crying Remembering Husband and Children

For almost 11 days separated from her husband and children, Fairuz A Rafiq couldn't stop crying every day. However, her sadness was slightly relieved because her eldest son, Faaz, has now tested negative and has reunited with her.

"The sadness is beyond words, even though it was relieved when I met Faaz and felt so happy. When I saw that Faaz tested negative first, I was happy because there was a cure, not just me and the baby alone. But when I saw the results yesterday and not all were negative, I was sad because I have a 3.5-year-old daughter," said Fairuz while crying.

"Moreover, when (Eijaz) video calls and asks 'Mom, why can't I meet you, I miss you'. It's pitiful, he doesn't understand what Covid is, so he can only pretend to be strong in front of the camera. We will meet soon, my dear, when I'm feeling better. I can't imagine being alone with the baby for 10 days, it's hard to sleep, hard to eat, but I have to be strong because I have a baby to strengthen myself," she continued.

4. Conditions Are Better

Now Sonny and Eijaz's condition is better and healthier. Currently, Fairuz is waiting for the PCR results of Sonny and Eijaz. He hopes that everything will be declared negative.

"Now, Alhamdulillah (Eijaz) is healthy. Earlier, he sent me a video of him dancing. Sonny also jumped on the bed like his friend. I'm happy to see him jumping and improving. Sonny is also healthy," explained Fairuz.

"We just have to wait for the results of the follow-up swab PCR. This morning, they happened to be tested, and hopefully, the results will be out this evening. My hope is that they are already negative," he concluded.
