When she married her husband, Astrid Tiar had no objections to accompanying Gerhard, who was still studying medicine at the time.
"When we got married, he was still in school, without an income," said Astrid Tiar when she was a guest on Rumpi No Secret some time ago.
Instead of demanding many things, Astrid actually tried to give confidence to Gerhard to fight together in building a household that they would live in.
"But I told him, 'Don't be discouraged, my love, when you're still in school. I believe our sustenance is for both of us. Maybe this year God entrusted it to me, and when you graduate, God will entrust it to both of us.'" she explained.
Armed with that confidence, Astrid Tiar and Gerhard have now proven that they can be faithful to each other and build a household from scratch.
Astrid mentioned that her husband could show the results of his struggle. Now Gerhard has become a specialist urologist.
