Fantastic, Nikita Mirzani Spends Rp 600 Million to Make the 'Selalu Salah' Music Video

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Nikita Mirzani will release her latest music video titled Selalu Salah in early 2021. Not just any video, this mother of three has collaborated with renowned director Rizal Mantovani.

Nikita Mirzani said that Rizal Mantovani is one of the directors who has a lot of experience in making music videos, "I'm really happy with the music video because the Selalu Salah music video is directly directed by Mr. Rizal Mantovani. It seems like he rarely makes music videos, mostly films."

"Why did I choose Rizal Mantovani? He's a legend, he's very detailed in terms of cinematography, hair, makeup, everything is taken care of by him," said Nikita when met at Studio 42, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (15/12).

1. Spending 600 Million

In the music video Selalu Salah (Always Wrong), Nikita Mirzani played a crucial role in the concept and idea. In fact, the idea she poured into it cost up to Rp 600 million.

"Almost a total of 600 million. (The idea came from Nikita) of course. Before we started, we visualized it together with my mind. I want it to be like this. She also had ideas that we combined, then we discussed the budget and finally it became a reality," she said.

2. 2-Day Shooting

Despite spending up to Rp 600 million, it turns out the shooting process only took 2 days. Apart from the idea and concept, this music video incurred a lot of costs due to the wardrobe worn by Nikita.

"Mas Rizal had crazy attention to detail and concepts. We shot for two days, with twelve themes and eight outfits," said the woman who is familiarly called Nyai.
