Fariz RM Celebrates Indonesian Independence Day by Distributing 100 Packages of Basic Necessities to Pandemic-Affected Communities

Kapanlagi.com - Today, Tuesday (17/8), coincides with the 76th anniversary of Indonesian Independence Day. Each person has their own way of interpreting the independence day of Indonesia, as senior musician Fariz RM did. He and his management team chose to hold a social action, considering that the current situation is not good due to the pandemic.

It is known that Fariz RM distributed groceries to people affected by the pandemic, in collaboration with the Indonesian Journalists Union (SWI). A total of 100 grocery packages were distributed to the Indonesian Music Workers Solidarity (SPMI)

"I pray and hope that our assistance or donation can help friends in the Indonesian Music Workers Solidarity (SPMI) who are still affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Both those directly affected and those affected by the difficulty of earning income during the Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) period still being implemented in Indonesia," said Fariz RM to the media.

"And of course, as we hope together in welcoming the 76th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, God willing, all of us, the Indonesian nation, can soon be free from the Covid-19 pandemic," he added.

Not forgetting, Fariz RM encourages the public to be more patient in facing this challenge and to continue implementing health protocols. He believes that Indonesia can get through all of this together.

"In the past, our fighters fought against colonialists with thoughts, struggling using sharp bamboo weapons. This time, let's fight together, liberating Indonesia from Covid-19. Keep wearing masks, washing hands with soap, avoiding crowds, and always limiting activities outside the house," said Fariz RM.

Fariz RM also hopes that his action can inspire public figures or others to do the same, which is to help others in these difficult times. "We must stand and continue to collaborate. There is no difference in ethnicity, religion, or race. No distinction in profession and class. We are all the same, we are Indonesians. It is only fitting for us to fight and free ourselves from this Covid-19 as a nation, as the people of Indonesia," he concluded. Fariz RM.

Meanwhile, Jatmiko, as the Chairman of the Indonesian Music Workers Solidarity (SPMI), did not forget to express his gratitude to Fariz RM who still extended his assistance in difficult times like now. He said that the assistance mentioned greatly alleviates the burden for those in need.
