Kapanlagi.com - The divorce hearing of Ria Ricis and Teuku Ryan was held again at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Monday (22/4/2024). Teuku Ryan brought his father, Teuku Rustam Effendy, as a witness. Teuku Ryan's lawyer, Dedi Rizal Armidi, stated that Teuku Ryan's father became a witness because he knew the journey of their household.
"Today, Rustam Effendy gave his testimony. Why was the father brought here? Because the father has been accompanying Ryan and Ricis and has known since the beginning of their marriage two years ago until now," said Dedi Rizal Armidi after the hearing.
In the trial, Teuku Ryan's father gave a clear testimony, so Ria Ricis' side did not ask any additional questions. In fact, because Teuku Ryan's testimony was very clear, Ria Ricis' side did not ask any more questions in the trial.
"Father has explained everything well in the courtroom about what the judges asked. The answers given by father were very clear in conveying it. Even Ricis' lawyers did not ask any more questions," he said.
Dedi Rizal Armidi then said, Teuku Ryan's father and Ria Ricis' family had previously conducted two mediations twice.
"Father also attended with sister Oki (Ria Ricis' sister) for two mediations at Kebagusan and Bintaro's house," he said.
The next session will be held on April 25th with the agenda of concluding the e-court, followed by a council meeting on May 2nd to determine the fate of their household.
"Next, the council will present its conclusion on Thursday, April 25th, giving each party the opportunity to present their conclusion in the e-court. Then, on May 2nd, the council meeting will determine the decision on whether Ryan and Ricis' household will remain together or separate, Wallahualam," he added.
On the other hand, Teuku Ryan's father hopes that his son and Ria Ricis will stay together. "We want them to stay together," concluded Rustam Effendy.
