Ferry Irawan's Condition Improving, Family Hopes to Avoid Surgery

"Now he's getting better than yesterday, Alhamdulillah, because we've received treatment, also tried alternative methods, still receiving outpatient treatment and regular check-ups," said Ari, Ferry Irawan's sibling when met at his residence in Bekasi area, Wednesday (30/6/2021).

1. Undergoing Alternative Treatment

Ferry Irawan underwent intensive treatment at the East Jakarta National Brain Center Hospital. He was also injected 15 times in the head.

"At that time, about last Sunday, I forgot too, after being injected we sat for a while because we couldn't stand right after the injection, but then went home. But now it's difficult to go to alternative treatments because we're afraid since they hold him directly," said Ari.

"Yes, it spread to the right hand like tingling, but not paralyzed, just tingling and numb," replied Seli, Ferry Irawan's sister-in-law.

2. Hoping to Avoid Surgery

Seli said that Ferry Irawan was also advised to undergo surgery. However, the family hopes that Ferry Irawan will not have to undergo surgery. Especially since his condition is gradually improving.

"It is recommended to have surgery if the small brain at the back is not functioning well. Maybe others think it's like this, but we see how he feels the pain, what his complaints are," said Seli.

"We hope he doesn't have to undergo surgery, please pray for everyone, for the recovery of my brother Ferry Irawan, let's avoid any burdensome procedures, let's try herbal or alternative therapies, maybe they are more affordable," concluded Seli.
