Ferry Salim Together with Meccaya Pharmaceutical Donates PPE for Medical Workers

Meccaya Pharmaceutical, a dermatology pharma company that produces 88 ointments and creams, has recently donated 4,500 PPEs, 500 liters of hand sanitizer, and 200 liters of disinfectant to medical personnel in several hospitals.

"Especially for hospitals, paramedics, and our brothers and sisters who are currently receiving treatment in hospitals. We decided to take this opportunity and do something positive as a contribution to society," said Ferry Salim in a written statement on Monday (27/4).

1. To Support Medical Workers

Meanwhile, the President Director of Meccaya Pharmaceutical, Ricky Surya Prakasa, said that this assistance is the company's effort to support Indonesian medical workers who are still fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We are concerned about the shortage of PPE in many Covid-19 Referral Hospitals. This has prompted us to help, so that at least all medical workers who are fighting on the front lines can have high safety standards in carrying out their duties," he said.

2. Follow the Government's Advice

Father of Brandon Salim also urged the public to follow the government's advice so that the spread of Covid-19 can be quickly stopped.

"We also strongly support the Government's program for the public to obediently follow every government recommendation in order to immediately break the chain of Covid-19 spread," he concluded.
