Film 'KETIKA BERHENTI DI SINI' Successfully Makes the Audience Cry, Prilly Latuconsina: This is the First Time I'm Happy to See Someone Cry

Seeing this reaction, Prilly is actually happy about it. It doesn't mean she doesn't care about the loss felt by others, because the message conveyed in the film can be delivered well.

"I'm really happy, this is the first time I'm happy to see people cry hahaha. During the roadshow, we often peek at the audience crying until their makeup smudges. We think, oh that means the message has been delivered. Our goal in making a film is to convey a message, and if the message is delivered well and they cry, we are happy," said Prilly when met at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, Monday (24/7/2023).

Refal Hady as one of the cast members also participated in special screenings in five cities including Surabaya, Malang, Solo, Karawang, and Bandung. Seeing the audience's reactions made him feel connected because for some time he still couldn't let go of his deceased mother.

"We are still processing the audience's reactions from the roadshow because everyone's reaction to loss is different. How they cope, deny, their ways may differ because the loss was either too sudden or too heavy. This film accommodates all the emotions that we can't process," said Refal on the same occasion.

2. Crying is Human

According to Refal Hady, as a human being, there is nothing wrong with appearing weak by crying. In fact, it is something human.

"This film reminds me. Sometimes I still forget, it's okay to cry, it's also difficult not to cry while going through life. Playing in this film can make me grateful for what I have now," said Refal.
