"Until now, I could only see friends and other actors posting on the red carpet. I always wondered 'When will I be trusted to be involved in a different film than before?'. That's why there was a moment when I cried, I didn't expect it, when it was announced that this film made it to the festival," said Prilly when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, Friday (4/8/2023).

The success of BUDI PEKERTI in the Toronto International Film Festival is a way for Prilly Latuconsina to prove herself. That she is capable when given the opportunity to be involved in a film with a different role.
"This is my first film that entered a festival. This is where I can prove to myself, not to anyone else, that I can still be trusted, still have a place, and will not waste this opportunity even since the shooting process yesterday," said Prilly.

Prilly Latuconsina admitted that she often receives offers for similar roles. When given the trust by Wregas Bhanuteja with a different character, Prilly felt her prayers were answered.
"I used to be seen as an actor who came from soap operas, then given the same character over and over again. Maybe no one believed that I could dissect different characters or play a character different from before. So when I was given that trust by a director I've been wanting to collaborate with, I was very happy and grateful," said Prilly.
