Finally Decided to Marry Ethan, Dewi Rezer: Tired of 6 Years of Long-Distance Relationship

Kapanlagi.com - Dewi Rezer shared the happiness of getting married to Ethan Alarmk some time ago. Before getting married, Dewi and Ethan had a Long Distance Relationship (LDR) for six years.

It was certainly not easy for both of them to live in a long distance relationship for several years. Moreover, the situation worsened when the world faced the Covid 19 pandemic, so they couldn't meet to relieve their longing.

"LDR is annoying, according to me. So it's been 6 years. Maybe it's easier for us, because I only work on shooting web series for 2 months, after that I have a month off and I can visit him," said Dewi Rezer in Tendean Area, South Jakarta, Sunday (13/8/2023).

"But the hardest part was during Covid 19, because the borders were closed. We didn't meet for a year and a half. That was the hardest part," added Dewi.

1. Decide to Get Married

After the pandemic, Dewi and Ethan finally decided to get married, mainly because they were tired of being in a long-distance relationship. They got married in Toronto, Canada, and only close relatives attended.

"We haven't seen each other, so we decided not to separate anymore. We got married in Canada, specifically in Toronto. It was attended by Ethan's close relatives, his parents, and I represented my family," said Dewi.

2. Mother and Children Unable to Attend

Unfortunately, Dewi mentioned that her mother and children couldn't attend her wedding with Ethan. Dewi was grateful that her uncle came to represent her parents in that happy moment.

"Coincidentally, my mother and children couldn't come. The children had already started school. And my mother had an obstacle, so my uncle represented us," she concluded.
