Finally Speak Up, Vanessa Angel Announces Date and Concept of Wedding Reception in Bali

Vanessa herself always avoided when asked about her wedding. But this time, she finally decided to tell everything to the media. Moreover, soon she and Bibi will hold a reception in Bali.

"Yes, God willing, my reception will be held on February 8th in Bali, so please pray for its smoothness. In total, there were 150 invitations," said Vanessa when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/2).

1. Dream Wedding

Vanessa and Bibi have always dreamed of holding their wedding reception in Bali. The event will be held privately for only family and close friends.

"Because my dream wedding has always been in Bali. And the view is by the beach, and we only invite close people, close friends, to make it intimate with the guests. And we want the atmosphere to be outdoor, and since Bibi and I met in Bali, we decided to choose Bali," she continued.

2. Wedding Reception Concept

Vanessa wants to have a more intimate and less formal wedding reception. That's why she chose Bali, which she said is very supportive of her dream concept.

"International weddings are common, but we focus more on the view. In Bali, it's more intimate with the guests, not like being on a stage and being seen by everyone. We mingle more, personally thank the guests. I prefer it that way. I want to know who is attending. Because if there are thousands of people, I might forget some of the guests," explained the 28-year-old woman.

3. Initially Didn't Want to Hold a Reception

Initially, Vanessa didn't want to hold a wedding reception. However, after being influenced by several parties and talking to her husband, she changed her decision.

"I didn't expect it either. Actually, I didn't want a reception. From the beginning, I said let's just have the ceremony, that's what matters. But then, my in-laws and friends suggested celebrating with a reception. Then I talked to Mr. Bibi and said if you want a reception, then let's do it. So, in the end, we decided to go to Bali and invite 150 people," Vanessa concluded.
