Find the Bright Spot, Inara Rusli and Virgoun Agree Peacefully About Royalty Rights

Kapanlagi.com - The feud between Inara Rusli and her ex-husband, Virgoun, regarding the case of transferring royalties for 4 songs has found a bright spot. Now, they have agreed to reconcile in a mediation hearing at the Central Jakarta District Court on Friday (22/3/2024).

Leonardo Ompusunggu, Virgoun's legal representative, said that there are several points that have been agreed upon by Inara Rusli as the plaintiff and the defendants, namely Virgoun, PT Digital Rantai Maya, and PT Digital Rumah Publishindo.

"We are very happy because today, Friday, March 22, 2024, the plaintiff and the defendants have finally reached a peaceful resolution. So this is a touching moment," said Leonardo at the Central Jakarta District Court on Friday (22/3/2024).

"Perhaps now is the right time. When they both lower their egos, lower the tension, and this Ramadan moment that made them (agree)," added Leonardo.

1. The Existence of a Good Agreement

Nevertheless, Inara Rusli is still guaranteed to receive royalties. Arjana Bagaskara, Inara's legal representative, stated that the value cannot be disclosed to the public.

"There is already a good agreement. Alhamdulillah, the parties have reached a common ground and it will proceed to the next process," said Arjana.

2. Report Has Been Withdrawn

Not only reconciling in the case of royalty transfer, Inara and Virgoun have also agreed to withdraw their respective reports. As known, Virgoun and Inara filed reports against each other at the Jakarta Metro Police.

"Yes, Alhamdulillah, there is an agreement (regarding the royalty case), and there is also a withdrawal of the police report. Yes, it has been acknowledged (for report withdrawal), so we have it," concluded Arjana.

3. Inara Sues Virgoun

Previously reported, Inara sued Virgoun for alleged unauthorized transfer of royalty rights for his 4 songs. Meanwhile, based on the decision of the West Jakarta Religious Court, royalties are joint assets and 50 percent must be given to Inara and her children.

In addition, it is known that Inara Rusli and Virgoun reported each other to the police. Inara reported Virgoun for alleged adultery, and Virgoun reported his ex-wife for alleged illegal access.
