First Divorce Hearing of Aura Kasih and Eryck Amaral to be Held on April 24

Kapanlagi.com - The first divorce trial of Aura Kasih and Eryck Amaral will be held on April 24. This was revealed by the Public Relations Officer of the South Jakarta Religious Court, Taslimah.

"For the official name, Shahiyanny Febria Wiraatmadja, as the plaintiff against Eryck Amaral, the first trial is scheduled for April 24, 2021," said Taslimah at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (10/3).

1. Unaware of Eryck Amaral's Whereabouts

However, until now, the Court does not know the exact address and whereabouts of Eryck Amaral, whether he is in Indonesia or abroad. Therefore, the Court has difficulty sending summons and finally resorts to calling him through the radio media.

"Because the defendant's address in Indonesia is unknown, where can we send it? That's why he is called to attend the trial through radio media," said Taslimah.

"If, for example, the plaintiff knows the actual address and knows where the defendant is, then he should report it. If he is in Indonesia, he will be summoned according to the actual address. If he is abroad, he will be summoned through the Indonesian Consulate General in the country where he is located," she continued.

2. Hoping Both Parties Will Attend

Taslimah also hopes that both the plaintiff and the defendant can attend the upcoming first divorce hearing with a mediation agenda.

"For the first hearing on April 24, 2021, it was ordered that the principal plaintiff, accompanied by their legal representative, should attend, and the defendant as well, because they were called through the media (radio) and must attend. If they know, if they hear, they must attend," said Taslimah.

"Therefore, it is mandatory for the principal plaintiff to attend in person during their first trial. Hopefully, if the defendant is present in person, reconciliation will be sought," she concluded.
