First Eid without Bibi Andriansyah and Vanessa Angel, Dewi Zuhriati: The Feeling of Loss is Still There

"Yes, we usually gather and have to gather, and we are all in Jakarta," said Hj. Dewi Zuhriati when met at her residence in the Srengseng area, West Jakarta not long ago.

1. Not Going Home to Hometown

However, this year the moment of gathering with the family of the late Bibi Andriansyah was held in the capital city. Considering that their only grandchild is still too young to travel far to their hometown in Padang, West Sumatra.

"Gala is still young, it's far from the airport to my house, it's pitiful for Gala to ride in a car," she said.

Furthermore, Dewi also revealed the difference in this year's Eid after the deaths of Bibi Andriansyah and Vanessa Angel. Although from the outside it looks fine, the grief of the celebrity couple's departure is still felt by the family.

"It's the same as any other year... But this year there is a feeling of loss... Outside there are smiles and happiness, but the feeling of loss is still there, right? It's been 6 months already... We still can't forget... This is all thanks to the two of them... This is their dream... Alhamdulillah, many of their dreams have come true, including the Gala house," said Dewi.

3. Different Eid

When asked what makes this year's Eid different from previous years, the late Bibi Andriansyah and Vanessa Angel, who always enlivened the atmosphere of Eid, were the answer.

"Yes, losing both of them... Usually, Eid prayers at their house are always warm... They can teach the atmosphere... That's what we miss... If the younger sister is calm, the most boisterous is Fuji," she recalled.

4. Gala Becomes a Priority

After the departure of Bibi Andriansyah and Vanessa Angel, Gala Sky has become a priority for Dewi Zuhriati as a grandmother and also for other family members. Amidst their busy schedules, which are now often highlighted by the media, there is always time to spend with their granddaughter.

"Yes, we always look at the time... Gala is still a priority if we work in the morning... We have to be home in the afternoon... Gala is a priority," said H. Faisal's wife.

To commemorate the passing of both Dewi Zuhriati and her family, they visited the graves of Aunt Andriansyah and Vanessa Angel as well as expressing joy on this year's Eid celebration.

"Yes, we express our joy during Eid, so that they can also feel happy there..." she said.

Eid is usually synonymous with big meals. But this time, Dewi, who did not return to her hometown, also did not cook on the advice of her child.

"Usually I cook, but Fuji said that I don't need to cook so that we don't have to bother ordering catering," said Dewi.

Regarding the children who now have their own partners, Dewi also feels happy and supports their romantic relationships.

"I'm just happy that the kids have partners... Let them enjoy their youth and be a source of encouragement for their work," she concluded.
