First Place, Evelina Witanama Cries Because She Will Star in the Soap Opera Ikatan Cinta

Kapanlagi.com - Evelina Witanama, unable to hold back tears after being chosen as the winner of the KlakKlik online casting for the show 'Ikatan Cinta'. Evelina managed to surpass two competitors, Regina Kandou from Jakarta and Farah Nabila, also from Jakarta.

The announcement of Evelina as the winner was broadcasted during the Result Show Online Casting for 'Ikatan Cinta' on Thursday (17/6/2021).

"I never expected to be chosen as the winner," said Evelina while crying.

1. New Cast Members of 'Ikatan Cinta' Immediately Signed

As the winner, this 23-year-old girl from Surabaya was immediately signed to become a new cast member in the soap opera 'Ikatan Cinta'.

According to Evelina, this is a dream come true. "When I entered the top 3, Evelin dreamed of shooting scenes with Amanda Manopo, Evelin thought it might just be a daydream, but it turned out to be real," she said.

Meanwhile, Filriadi Kusmara, Operations Director of MNC Pictures, who is also one of the judges of the Online Casting for 'Ikatan Cinta', chose Evelina Witanama as the winner because she has various potentials within her.

"Regarding Evelina, we all agree. We see that overall she has interesting potentials compared to other participants," said Firliadi after the event.

2. Not Too Perfect

Firliadi added, Evelina is indeed not too perfect to be a star. However, out of the three candidates, Evelina was seen by all the judges as the best.

"Not being perfect certainly still has many shortcomings. But we see it from her enthusiasm, then how she delivers acting when tested, it is better than the others," he continued.

3. Will Replace the Old Players

It is not yet known whether Evelina will play an antagonist or protagonist character. However, it is certain that she will not replace the old players.

"The character's name is not yet known because we are still working on the story. We'll see later," he continued.

Evelina became the winner after going through 2,604 participants who auditioned for the new character in Ikatan Cinta. In the grand final, she defeated the other two candidates, Regina Kandau and Farah Nabila.
