Former Wife Strikes Back at Rizal Djibran with False Complaint Accusations

Kapanlagi.com - Rizal Djibran's former wife, Maesarah Nurzaka alias Sarah, was questioned by investigators from the Jakarta Metro Police on Monday (10/72023) regarding Rizal Djibran's report on alleged defamation and slander. Accompanied by her lawyer, Tris Haryanto, Sarah was questioned for approximately one hour.

"There were about 15 questions from 2 PM to 3 PM, and we just finished," said Tris Haryanto.

1. Counter Report

After undergoing the examination, Sarah, along with her lawyer, went to the Jakarta Metro Police's SPKT (Police Emergency Call Center) to file a counter report against Rizal Djibran. Sarah reported Rizal under Article 220 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) in conjunction with Articles 310 and 311 regarding false complaints and defamation.

"In essence, Sarah objects to the report made by Rizal Djibran. That's why she filed a counter report under Article 220 in conjunction with 310 and 311 of the Indonesian Criminal Code regarding false complaints and defamation to the police. The maximum punishment is four years," said Tris Haryanto.

2. Defamation of Good Name

Based on her report, Sarah hopes to obtain justice and legal certainty. Previously, Sarah had reported Rizal Djibran with allegations of domestic violence and deviant sexual behavior on February 13, 2023, almost simultaneously with their divorce proceedings.

Rizal Djibran denied these allegations by immediately counter-reporting Sarah with accusations of defamation and defamation of character on March 15, 2023.

"Hopefully, there will be justice and legal certainty so that it does not drag on, and whoever is guilty must be punished," she said.
