From Cinta Laura to Dian Sastro, 10 Celebrities who Support the Prevention of Sexual Violence on Campus

According to Change.org Indonesia, 2 years ago, a coalition of women's movements submitted 13,000 voices through a petition to Minister Nadiem.

Meanwhile, there are 11 petitions that voice sexual violence in campus environments. Up until now, it has been signed by approximately 730,000 people.

The number of gathered data shows that actions to prevent sexual violence on campus are indeed very important.

Considering that cases of sexual violence on campus can happen to anyone, finally Permendikbud ristek No.30 2021 has been officially issued.

As widely shared by artists, this regulation will provide a sense of safety and comfort while on campus. It applies not only to students, but also to all residents of higher education institutions.

“Permendikbud or Ministerial Regulation on Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education Institutions or Permen PPKS, is intended to be an active step by the ministry to prevent, handle, and improve security on campus from sexual violence,” Dian Sastro stated in her post.
