Fulfilling Indro Warkop's Request, Warkopi Stops All Activities and Even Deletes Commercial Content

This is because, after they went viral and Indro Warkop commented on their actions of using the image of Warkop DKI without permission.

Therefore, Warkopi finally shows their good intentions. Warkopi, which is under the umbrella of Patria TV, complies with Indro's request and the Warkop DKI institution.

Warkopi finally stops all activities and various commercial content from Warkopi. All of this is done as a form of respect and apology to Indro Warkop.

"Fulfilling the request, what uncle Indro conveyed, if they have good intentions, please stop Warkopi's content first," said Ali Juys, the spokesperson for Patria TV, which oversees Warkopi's commercial activities when met at the Patria TV office in Sawangan, West Java, on Friday (24/9) afternoon.

"This is our good intention to respect our respect for uncle Indro and the Warkop DKI institution," he continued.

Not only that, all activities from Warkopi wherever they are no longer running. In fact, they said all Warkopi content on the Partia TV Youtube channel has been taken down. This is in accordance with the conditions submitted by Indro and the Warkop DKI Institution.

"Well, our good intentions are also not to post Warkopi activities anywhere. You can check that all Warkopi sketches have been taken down," he said.

According to him, this is a form of good intentions from Warkopi management to stop all commercial activities in the entertainment industry. It is done based on not wanting to hurt the struggle of Warkop DKI and Indro.

"Regarding the open discussion that was conveyed by Om Indro. With this good intention, with seriousness, we have taken down all of our Warkopi content. We also temporarily stopped on television, out of respect," he said.

2. Bearing the Image of Warkop DKI

Behind the turmoil, Kums, as the road manager of Warkopi, revealed that it is very difficult for the three Warkopi personnel because they are associated with the image of the legendary comedy group Warkop DKI. Even one of the Warkopi personnel, Alvin, admitted that he and his two colleagues were down because of reprimands from Indro and criticism from netizens.

"The three of them often say that portraying Warkop DKI is a burden, it is difficult to portray them. Because what they do on TV is not their own will but the direction from the TV side. So if there is any misunderstanding, we make sure there is none. Instead, we find this challenging," said Kums.

"(Fear) Surely there is, I was down for a while, netizens said this and that, but there I tried to face it and said 'it's okay, I can handle it,'" added Alvin in the same occasion.
