Funeral of Lucky Widja, Vocalist of Element, Accompanied by Family's Tears

The atmosphere of mourning immediately enveloped the cemetery area as the body was taken out of the ambulance to be brought to the grave that had been prepared.

The family’s tears were uncontrollable as Lucky’s body was being lowered into the ground. His beloved mother appeared very devastated and remained at the edge of the grave watching the ceremony. Meanwhile, his wife, Aleima Sharuna, tried to stay strong even as tears continued to stream down her cheeks. 

She appeared to be trying to strengthen herself to let go of her husband for good. After the body was covered with a mound of red earth, the ceremony continued with a joint prayer reading. 

During the moment, one of the middle-aged men who is a family representative gave a speech. He expressed deep gratitude to all the mourners who have come to pay their last respects to the deceased.

"I represent the family of Mr. Lucky Widha who passed away yesterday and has returned to Rahmatullah. We thank you for your attention, sir and madam, in lightening his steps during his lifetime, during his illness, and now as he returns to Rahmatullah. May he have a good ending, may he be a resident of paradise," said the family representative.

The family also publicly apologized for any mistakes that Lucky may have made during his life. This is done so that the deceased's journey to the afterlife can proceed peacefully and that all his affairs may be eased.

"Lucky during his life certainly did not escape from mistakes and sins. We ask for forgiveness to be opened so that his affairs in the afterlife may be made easier. If there are debts that have not been settled, please contact the family," he said in front of the mourners.

The departure of Lucky Widja was previously shared by his bandmate, Ferdy Tahier, through a post on his personal social media. Ferdy offered his best prayers for his friend to receive the most honorable place with God Almighty. This loss is certainly a deep sorrow for the extended family of the band Element.
