The interaction between Inayah and her brother with the taxi driver began when they were discussing the Javanese language. Upon hearing that, the taxi driver asked where they were from.

"I once took a taxi with my brother, and then the taxi driver started talking. When my brother spoke to me in Javanese, the driver asked, 'How do you know Javanese?' Then he said, 'Because I'm Javanese, from Jombang,'" Inayah said, quoted from YouTube Trans 7 on Tuesday (7/11/23).

"Then suddenly the taxi driver said, 'Oh, really? We're from the same village as Gus Dur?' So we asked, 'How do you know that Gus Dur is from Jombang?' The taxi driver said, 'Well, I am Gus Dur's child!'"," Inayah recounted while laughing.

Hearing the taxi driver who made up a story about being Gus Dur's child, Inayah and her brother, as Gus Dur's real children, burst into laughter. They couldn't believe that there were people who claimed to be their father's children. What's even funnier is that they heard the joke directly.

"It was the taxi driver who said it, not us, I swear, and we were shocked and laughed. He said, 'Why are you laughing? Is it not allowed for the president's child to become a taxi driver? Why are you laughing?' But we still laughed," she explained.

When Inayah revealed that she is the daughter of the former President of Indonesia, the taxi driver who heard it didn't believe her. In fact, he seemed to underestimate Inayah. 

"Yes, because we are Gus Dur's children, right. Then the driver looked at her and said, 'Huh? Dream!' ha ha ha, I swear," Inayah Wahid concluded, making a studio including presenter Irfan Hakim and Raffi Ahmad burst into laughter.
