Now, Indosiar is once again looking for young talents to be nurtured into superstars through the Pop Academy event. Pop Academy is a talent search singing event that will be aired on Indosiar starting Monday, October 5, 2020, at 21:00 WIB, opening with the Final Audition episode.
"After the auditions through live streaming, we have filtered out 120 participants from the thousands who participated. These 120 participants will be further filtered down to 40 Academia in the final audition," said Harsiwi Achmad, the Director of SCM Programming, in a virtual press conference on Thursday (10/1/2020).

To create a superstar figure, Indosiar collaborates with several big names in the Indonesian music industry to be present as Jury Members. They are musicians who are not only loved by music enthusiasts but also recognized for their achievements and works.
Among them are Ariel 'NOAH', Armand Maulana, Ruth Sahanaya, Bebi Romeo, Melly Goeslaw, Giring Ganesha, Pinkan Mambo, Andien, Anji, Rizky Febian, and Soimah. Even Indonesian singers who have achieved international success, Agnez Mo, will also directly evaluate the Academia in the Grand Final Concert and Result Show Concert of Pop Academy.
"These cool Jury Members will evaluate, provide input, and give guidance on the performance of the academia to help them improve even further," said Harsiwi Achmad.
In addition to the Jury Members, Pop Academy also has Fashion Gurus who have made a name for themselves in the fashion industry, both in Indonesia and internationally, such as Carend Delano, Maya Ratih, and Diana Putri, to evaluate and provide input on the outfits worn by the Academia.

The competition atmosphere will be more festive because it will be guided by well-known hosts from the homeland who will provide a unique color with a new formation. They are Raffi Ahmad, Gilang Dirga, Mario Pratama (Mario), Narendra Pawaka (Eda), and the idol who is currently being praised by the Indonesian people, Rizky Billar.
Pop Academy also involves Irvnat and Vaness as vocal coaches and Donne D'Soul as choreography coach. Meanwhile, the music of Oni n Friends will accompany the performance of the academia throughout the Pop Academy competition.
"In addition, the academia will also be provided with public speaking training and also psychological aspects, and it is hoped that it can be a provision for them to improve even better," said Harsiwi Achmad.
For assessment, in addition to the jury panel, viewers are also involved through polling on Lazada and SMS. Viewers can already support their favorite participants starting from Monday, October 12, 2020, during the Pop Academy Top 40 round.
