Jefri Nichol admits that for this match, he did not take any shooting offers in order to focus on boxing training.

Although not completely sure of winning, Jefri Nichol has made sufficient preparations. “(Confident) 51 percent. The other 49 percent is for preparation,” said Jefri Nichol.

Meanwhile, El Rumi appears more confident in winning against Jefri Nichol in the future. Especially since last year El Rumi successfully became a boxing champion.  

The son of Ahmad Dhani and Maia Estianty also revealed his advantages compared to Jefri Nichol. One of them is his tall posture. 

“The first strength might be that I win in height. In boxing, it might also be very determining for victory. Second, my training this time is more serious than before,” said El Rumi.

Meanwhile, Jefri Nichol said that his advantage over El Rumi is his power. “Maybe my advantage over El is my power, his body is soft, he has been living comfortably for too long,” said Jefri Nichol.

Jefri Nichol also revealed his reason for challenging El Rumi in a boxing match. “The reason why I want to challenge El is because it was said that I only fight against small-bodied people. But no one knows what their actual body is like,” said Jefri Nichol.

He also wants to defeat El Rumi because he has previously won. "Now I want to challenge El because he has a big body, he has never lost, right?" Jefri Nichol challenged.

Not accepting Jefri Nichol's mockery, El Rumi is confident that he will win in the upcoming match. "Not (losing) yet, later I won't lose either. You have never lost, right?" El Rumi replied.

The atmosphere of the press conference became heated when both of them posed for photos. Feeling taller, El Rumi seemed to mock Jefri Nichol who is shorter.

However, the atmosphere eased when Raffi Ahmad, as the promoter, calmed down El Rumi and Jefri Nichol.
