Currently, the woman born in Badung on May 3, 1987, even has several successful businesses, ranging from Cahya Dewi Bali, Cahya Dewi Salon, Cahya Dewi Gown to Cahya Dewi Kebaya Bali. All the businesses she runs are certainly inseparable from the beauty field, which has been her interest since childhood.

"I started the MUA business and the business journey from her childhood hobby of Balinese dance. So I am no stranger to the world of makeup, although not as professional as now," said Arik Cahya Dewi.

"After graduating from the Management Economics Department of Udayana University, I decided to get married. After having one child, I decided to pursue her makeup hobby again by taking a salon course," she continued.

Fortunately, her mother-in-law also supported Arik's desire to have her own beauty salon. This made her even more enthusiastic about pursuing her hobby.

And in 2011, Arik started offering her services for makeovers. At the beginning of her career, Arik admitted that she didn't set any prices.

"For me, at that time, being able to get a model to do makeup on was already satisfying," she recalled.

Her services were then promoted by word of mouth from her friends. Her name became more well-known and she started getting more jobs.

2. A Popular Beauty Salon Even Overseas

In 2011, Arik didn't have her own beauty salon yet, even though many people suggested that she open one. This was because this beautiful MUA still had many jobs outside. Until she formed her own team and management, including hairstylists and therapists. Only then, Cahya Dewi Salon was established in 2014.

Currently, Cahya Dewi Salon has 30 employees in the salon and bridal department, as well as 5 wedding teams, each consisting of 2 people. What's special is that the makeup services from Cahya Dewi Salon are not only popular in Indonesia, but also overseas, such as South Korea and Singapore.

Although her name is now rising in the beauty world, Arik Cahya Dewi is not satisfied. She continues to be enthusiastic about learning by taking various makeup courses. According to her, makeup trends are constantly changing, so she needs to keep up with the developments in the makeup world.
