Zahra or Ara JKT48 was born on August 5, 2003 in Purwokerto. In 2019, she decided to join JKT48 when she was about to turn 16. At such a young age, she joined JKT48 and entered the Academy Class B Student.

Only in May 2019, Zahra was promoted to join Academy Class A. Interestingly, she joined Class B on April 27, 2019, and a month later, she was promoted to Class A on May 26, 2019.

2. JKT48 8th Generation Member

Joining JKT48 in 2019, Zahra is a member of the 8th generation of JKT48. However, Zahra was only promoted to the public in 2020 through Team KIII. Only in 2021, precisely on March 12, 2021, Zahra was transferred to JKT48 for the new formation.

Although newly promoted in 2020, Zahra JKT48 has participated in 7 unit stages, namely ACA1 (Pajama Drive), KIII4 (Saka Agari), ACA2 (Boku no Taiyou), KIII5 (Ramune no Nomikata), JKT1 (Renai Kinshi Jourei), JKT2 (Seishun Girls), and JKT3 (Seifuku no Me).

In addition, an interesting fact about these 7 unit stages is that Zahra has been a center in ACA1 unit, performing two songs, Pajama Drive and Kagami no Naka no Jean Da Arc, where she became the center in both songs.

5. Member of Valkyrie48 eSport Player

Because of her hobby, Zahra JKT48 is included in the members of Valkyrie48, a group formed for the esports team, which is a team formed for video game competitions usually filled by professionals. Zahra Nur is also a member of Valkyrie48, the esports team for JKT48.

The Valkyrie48 team itself has been established since 2018 and was first announced at the Legion of Champion III Indonesia Final event, and all Valkyrie48 members themselves come from JKT48 members.

With many achievements, it turns out Zahra Nur had a problem because she took a selfie with a man which is a violation for an idol. Some time ago, Zahra made a buzz among fans with her photo with a man uploaded by an anonymous account. The photo certainly attracted a lot of attention and questions about Zahra's integrity as an Idol.

Becoming a topic of conversation, Zahra finally decided to clarify through her Twitter account @N_AraJKT48. She confirmed about the photo that was claimed to be her and explained that her relationship with the boyband member was only as a friend.

"Regarding the circulating photo since 2 days ago, I have been called by the management and have explained the matter. It is true that the person in the photo is me. However, I don't have a close relationship with the boyband member in the photo. But I do know and befriend one of the boyband members who is not in the photo," Zahra wrote.

"At that time, I was near the place where they were doing activities, met one of them, and took a photo." Actually, there were also several other people at that place, not just the two of us. But there, I took a photo that triggered misunderstandings and speculations from many parties. This also inconvenienced the fans and other members. Therefore, I admit my mistake and sincerely apologize," he continued.

7. Suspended for the Meantime

Because of the incident, JKT48 finally had to intervene and speak up. They made the decision to suspend all activities of Zahra Nur as a member of JKT48 until August 2021. Because of that, some of Zahra's activities had to be canceled.

"Thank you very much for your support for JKT48. Regarding the circulating photo of Zahra Nur on social media a few days ago, she has explained what happened to the management. After listening to that, Zahra Nur's lack of self-awareness as a member of JKT48 has caused misunderstandings that ultimately disturbed and disappointed many parties," wrote the operational team of JKT48 on their official website.
 
"Therefore, we have decided to suspend Zahra Nur's activities as a member of JKT48 until the end of August 2021. With this, we hope that she can reflect and engage in activities with the appropriate awareness and sense of responsibility. Thus, the planned Ara video call on August 15, 16, and 21, 2021, is canceled. Further announcements regarding the replacement of this video call will be made later," concluded the statement.
