Ghea Idol and a Series of Pro Gamers Collaborate in the e-Sport Themed Original Series 'Sumber Rezeki'

Kapanlagi.com - After the success of Skripsick, Vision+ presents a new original series titled Sumber Rezeki. This comedy-drama genre show focuses on e-sport and exclusively airs on Vision+ every Wednesday (17/3) yesterday.

Sumber Rezeki is a form of commitment from Vision+ to provide fresh and quality content for viewers, especially the young generation of Indonesia. This original series is indeed a new breakthrough that has never been seen before.

"This series is very special. There is no other drama series out there that highlights e-sport and none that uses content creators as the main talent," said Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo, Director of OTT Product, Marketing & Programming PT MNC Vision at the Press Conference & Screening of Sumber Rezeki in Jakarta on Wednesday (17/3/2021).

Sumber Rezeki directed by Rifki Rifaldi tells the story of 2 gamers in realizing their dreams of joining an e-sports team. Sumber Rezeki reveals the struggles of the main character to become a professional gamer that will change his life.

In this show, a series of talented young talents will also be presented. Interestingly, most of them are dominated by a series of well-known Indonesian content creators, such as Filipus 'Bangpen' Fendi (Udin), Sky (Ujang), Ghea 'Idol' Indrawari (Melati), Ina Marika (Mawar), and Grace Blessing who plays the character of Gadis.

"I'm really happy to have the opportunity to play in this film. Besides discussing e-sports, there is also a romantic side and the struggle. As for me, even though my role is kind of awkward and calm, there are also some scenes that require me to cry and get angry. It's very challenging but fun," said Ghea about her involvement in Sumber Rezeki.

2. Synopsis 'Sumber Rezeki'

A brief synopsis of Sumber Rezeki, this film tells the story of Udin (Bang Pen) and Ujang (Sky), immigrants who want to become Pro Players in the e-Sport game. They both rent a boarding house for a place to live in Jakarta. Love and friendship become obstacles to achieving their dreams. In addition, participating in the PUBGM tournament throughout Jakarta is the first step they take to achieve their dreams.

Director of Programming, Production, & Content Acquisition MVN, Endang Mayawati said that Sumber Rezeki is not only targeting the young generation. There are elements of drama, comedy, and romance that can be enjoyed by various groups.

"My hope is that this show can be watched and enjoyed by all people, especially those who have downloaded Vision+," said Endang.
