Senior musician Gideon Tengker returned to the Metro Jaya Police to monitor the ongoing legal case. He reported Rieta Amilia Beta along with her two biological daughters for alleged forgery of divorce documents.
"I don't know what their reason is for never wanting to answer my calls. From Caca, Gigi, Raffi... only Lala is the one I often call. How's the grandchild, that's all," he said when met at the Metro Jaya Police, South Jakarta, Tuesday (19/5/2026).
This 71-year-old man feels very disappointed because his children seem to deliberately close the door to communication with him. Gideon Tengker expressed that he has been experiencing great difficulty even just to have a conversation over the phone.
"What about me? For about 12 years it's just been hard to call, hard to call, oh just stop already," said Gideon Tengker in a sad tone.
Raffi Ahmad's father-in-law suspects that the silence from his children is a form of rejection to reconcile. He feels ignored by his own family amid his struggle for justice regarding assets and divorce papers.
"It seems like that. By not wanting to answer, that's already blocking me. Yes," asserted the grandfather of Rafathar Malik Ahmad.
Gideon Tengker reported his ex-wife for suspected false information regarding her residence address during their divorce process. This resulted in the summons letter never reaching him, causing the decision to be made without his presence.
This strained relationship has been acknowledged by Gideon as having lasted for a very long time. He can only resign himself to the situation, even though he feels tormented inside due to the neglectful attitude of his biological children.
"Yes, that's it. The pain has passed. I can move on... Only God protects me. That's it," he concluded.
