Gilang Dirga has a dream of having a career abroad. However, until now, he has not been able to realize his dream of having a career in America. For this 34-year-old man, Hollywood is the pinnacle of the entertainment industry and he really wants to be a part of it. Check out Gilang Dirga's story below.
"Back then, I dreamed of becoming a public figure in Indonesia, and Alhamdulillah, it was achieved. And now, I have a dream of going to Hollywood. Because in my opinion, the peak of the entertainment industry is there," said Gilang Dirga when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Monday (5/2/2024).
One of the steps taken by Gilang Dirga to realize his dream is by actively searching for agents and sending videos for casting in order to debut in Hollywood.
"I really want to have a career in Hollywood, so while I'm doing that, I'm also trying to find an agent there, I still send my casting videos, I still do it," said Gilang Dirga.
Furthermore, Adiezty Fersa's husband even asked Iko Uwais, Christine Hakim, and Maxime Bouttier who had previously appeared in one of the films there. After trying, Gilang Dirga still hasn't succeeded.
"Well, that's a mystery, we never know suddenly Iko Uwais is there, Joe Taslim is there, suddenly Christine Hakim is shooting a Hollywood film, and even Maxime Bouttier suddenly stars in a Hollywood film, it's all a mystery," explained Gilang Dirga.
"I asked, they have already told me, the patterns are like this, but because those who go international are not only from Indonesia, but from all over the world, so the competition is global," Gilang Dirga added.
However, Gilang Dirga is aware that the competition to enter Hollywood is very tough. All he can do is surrender and hope that his efforts will bear fruit.
"It's difficult, but if I don't make an effort, I would be wrong. I am already happy with my efforts. So, I would say it's up to Allah, as long as I have made an effort towards that direction," he concluded.
The former lover is happy to be blessed with a child, Happy Asmara also wants to be happy in her own way.
