Asri admitted to experiencing diarrhea which affected the amount of amniotic fluid. For the safety of the mother and baby, a delivery procedure had to be performed.
Like other premature babies, Asri's baby had to go through the observation process in the NICU. "We ensure that his body is already mature. Turns out the result is okay," said the pediatric specialist who handled the case.
Asri admits regret for not taking care of her health during pregnancy. She admits to having a lack of iron in the first trimester. The peak was when she experienced severe diarrhea.
"But thankfully the baby is fine, the head is good, all the organs are good, the eyes are also fine. It's just me who couldn't provide proper nutrition for the baby. That's why I cried yesterday," said Asri with teary eyes.
When Asri was about to give birth, she uploaded a video of herself crying. Of course, this made a number of netizens concerned. At that time, Asri was afraid that premature birth could endanger her child's condition.
However, lucky the proper handling saved the condition of baby Asri. Baby Renzo was born premature but in good condition.
Asri is also grateful for the support from her husband and family to get through this childbirth. Hopefully, Asri Welas and Baby Renzo Gibrar recover soon and always stay healthy!
