Giving Birth to the Third Child Through a Caesarean Section, Sammy Simorangkir and Viviane Reveal the Meaning of the Baby's Name

Kapanlagi.com - Sammy Simorangkir and Viviane are currently happy. Yes, they have just been blessed with their second child who was born on August 8, 2023. Born through a caesarean section, the baby, a boy weighing 2,570 grams and measuring 45 cm in length, was named Elhanan Lasroha Simorangkir.

Viviane further explained the meaning of their second child's name. The name consists of three syllables, and Sammy chose a combination of Hebrew and Batak languages to become their child's identity.

"When it comes to naming our child, the father is the one who looks for it, I leave the decision to him. The meaning of the name Elhanan in Hebrew is the mercy of God. And the word 'Lasroha' comes from the Batak language, which means joy, and 'Simorangkir' is a family name," said Viviane at Brawijaya Saharjo Hospital, South Jakarta, on Thursday (10/8/2023).

1. Grateful for Smooth Delivery

Viviane feels grateful because the delivery process went smoothly. Shortly after the birth at 07:30 AM, the doctor immediately performed circumcision on the baby.

"This baby was born at 7:27 AM, then yesterday he was immediately circumcised for his health and for Elhanan's comfort," said Viviane.

Sammy Simorangkir and Viviane Simorangkir got married on July 22, 2017. From their marriage, they have been blessed with two children. Their first child, Gevariel Jogi Simorangkir, was born on August 22, 2018. Meanwhile, their second child, Elhanan Lasroha Simorangkir, was born on August 8, 2023.

Before marrying Sammy Simorangkir, it is known that Viviane was previously married to Okan Kornelius. From her marriage to Okan, she has a son named Jaden Kornelius Tjeuw.
