Glenn Fredly Passed Away, Armand Maulana Confused Between Visiting or Not

Famous singer Glenn Fredly passed away on Wednesday (8/4) at the age of 44. The singer of the song Januari took his last breath at RS Setia Mitra, Fatmawati area, South Jakarta.

Various condolences have started to pour in from a number of artists on social media. Armand Maulana, as a close friend, admitted that he was shocked to hear the sudden news of the deceased.

Now, there is one thing that is currently confusing Armand. Whether he will visit or at least come to the funeral home. As it is known, the public is currently advised to practice physical distancing and avoid crowds.

"Well, I'm really confused. We, the GIGI band members, are confused, as well as other musicians. Moreover, Hendy's house is in front of the hospital. We've been texting and calling each other, we're also confused about visiting because we know the condition of the hospital, especially with COVID going on. And we're also confused about going to his house," said Armand when contacted by KapanLagi.com, Wednesday (8/4).

1. Unfeasible Situation

Not only Glenn, previously some of Armand's friends also passed away. And at that time, Dewi Gita's husband couldn't visit the grave because the situation was not feasible.

"Because yesterday many close friends of mine passed away, so their families asked me to pray from home. Because of this COVID situation," said the frontman of Gigi.

2. Armand Maulana Feels Conflicted

Armand admitted that Glenn was one of his close friends. Therefore, he feels conflicted and confused about whether to go to the funeral or not.

"I feel so conflicted. I think about what will happen if I don't come, and what will happen if I do come, I'm just confused. Glenn was really close to me," he concluded.
