Indra Frimawan called the Jicomfest 2023 stage his last stand-up comedy stage. Therefore, Indra made his career journey the material for his performance at Jicomfest 2023.

"Yes, this is my last stage this year, at Jicomfest," said Indra Frimawan on the Jicomfest 2023 stage.

"Now I want to tell how my career journey has been for 10 years as a comedian. I started doing stand-up in 2013, at that time I went to one of the scariest open mic places in Jakarta, scary in the sense that there were senior stand-up comedians there," he continued.

Indra remembers how his first jokes were not funny at all. However, he did not lose heart and continued to train himself so that the punch lines he delivered could be understood by the audience.

"I still remember my first joke that was not funny at all, people were leaving because it was so unfunny," recalled Indra Frimawan.

During a training session, Indra Frimawan finally achieved success. It was at this moment that Indra Frimawan earned the nickname of a strange comedian because of his absurd jokes.

"But I kept practicing, doing open mic until finally, there was a funny material that became history. And because of this, I was dubbed a strange, absurd comedian," he said.

Indra Frimawan's stage performance with his various absurd jokes successfully made the audience at Jicomfest 2023 furrow their brows while laughing and thinking. In addition, on the second day of Jicomfest 2023, it will certainly be just as exciting as the first day with a lineup of comedians from both domestic and international scenes.
